It’s Ask the Chef Monday! Want to know how to cut down on stress when serving food for a large number of people? Read on!

Question: “We’re in the midst of the holiday season which means a lot of people will be hosting food-centric events in their homes. Do you have any advice to offer those who will be preparing food for a large number of people? Menu, prep, etc.?”

Chef Peter: “When creating your menu, add items that you can prepare in stages.  For example, a vegetable stir fry.  You can cut/prepare all of the vegetables ahead of time and just do the sitr-frying part at the last minute.  You can prepare a chili, stew or osso bucco ahead of time and just reheat before your meal.”
