100% Aromella – Aromatic off-dry sparkling wine featuring a tropical nose that blends perfectly with a palate of banana, pineapple, and mango.  Refreshing and light enough to enjoy on its own, this versatile wine pairs with an assortment of foods such as Asiago cheese, barbecued chicken, Waldorf salad, or lemon squares.

2018 Showcase Wine

Jones Von Drehle – Petit Verdot 2014

The 2014 Petit Verdot has the aromas of dried plums, violets, and black cherry and tastes hints of blueberry, spice, and oak.  This wine will pair well with steak, game, or a hearty winter stew.  Another classic French grape that produces a rich, dark deep wine, meant for contemplative sipping.

2018 Showcase Wine

Parker-Binns Vineyard – Cabernet Franc 2015

*Distributor: DtC via

Inspired by the blending techniques of the Right Bank of Bordeaux, this vintage is a blend of 83% Cabernet Franc and 17% Cabernet Sauvignon.  The ripening period of 2015 was unusually hot and dry in Polk County, which allowed for the development of ripe fruit characteristics in this wine.  Pouring a vibrant ruby red in the glass, this Cabernet Franc shows true varietal aromas of rose petal and graphite, followed by a touch of oak.  Framed with fresh acidity, flavors of bright red fruits run throughout and balanced tannins on the finish.  Aged for 20 months in a blend of French and American Oak, this wine represents the character of the vintage and quality of our region.

2018 Showcase Wine

Raffaldini Vineyards – Vermentino Superiore 2016

*Distributor: Thomas Salley, Tasting Room Manager

Vermentino hails from the island of Sardinia just west of the Italian mainland. Vermentino, with its thick skins and loose clusters, grows perfectly in our climate and creates complex white wines. We lovingly maintain the oldest Vermentino vines on the East Coast and perhaps in the country. Most of the grapes were hand-sorted three times and then were dried using the appassimento process. The remaining grapes went through a process called Macerazione, or extended skin contact, a process rarely used for white grapes. This dual approach deepens the color and intensifies the flavors of citrus and stone fruit like kiwi. A kiss of oak rounds out the wine, creating unparalleled complexity while retaining balance. This 2016 vintage features flavors of citrus, tropical fruit, green apple, and ocean spray. Vermentino’s refreshing acidity makes it a wonderful pairing for seafood and other entreés.

2018 Showcase Wine

Midnight Magdalena Vineyards – Merlot NV

*Distributor: At the vineyard & Online

Our Merlot has an attention-grabbing deep garnet color. Black cherry, fruit forward on the palate, with soft tannins and a medium finish.  This wine pairs really well with grilled meats (steak or chicken), and hard cheeses
