Our journey continues! We’ve been so happy with our decisions to make Posana as environmentally friendly as possible, so it’s easy to keep it moving forward.
With the help of the Blue Ridge Sustainability Institute and Sundance Power Systems, Chef Pollay and the AIR “Green Team” helped facilitate a new initiative for several AIR member eateries: installing solar-powered hot water systems! We installed a six-panel array here at Posana to help keep us lean, mean, and green! The installation happened on a cold winter day, but it generated a lot of heat around town! Thanks to the Asheville Citizen-Times, the Laurel of Asheville, the Mountain Xpress, and WLOS for covering the green restaurant movement in Asheville. We are proud to be a part of such a passionate and engaged community that really cares!
